Cape Verde faces Saudi Arabia this Friday, June 26 at midnight GMT in the third and final matchday of Group H at the World Cup.

The Blue Sharks are on the verge of making history. After securing their first-ever points with a 0-0 draw against Spain and a thrilling 2-2 against Uruguay, they're dreaming of their maiden victory in the competition. A win tonight would mean qualification for the knockout stage in their debut tournament appearance.

On the other side, Saudi Arabia may be bottom of the group with just one point, but they still have a shot at qualifying with a win tonight. The Saudis have reached the round of 16 once in their six previous World Cup appearances, back in the USA in 1994.

Cape Verde

Cape Verde will go into this crucial match without Lopes Cabral, who is suspended after picking up too many yellow cards. Meanwhile, the Green Falcons will be at full strength, including Saud Abdulhamid, the only squad member playing his club football abroad (Lens).

Here are the probable lineups:

Cape Verde: Vozinha - Moreira, Diney Borges, Lopes, Joao Paulo - Arcanjo, Pina - Mendes, Monteiro, Rodrigues – Benchimol.

Saudi Arabia: Al-Owais - Abdulhamid, Al-Tambakti, Lajami, Al-Amri, Al-Harbi - Al-Juwayr, N. Al-Dawsari, Al-Khaibari, S. Al-Dawsari - Al-Buraikan.
