Spain stumbled out of the gates at the start of the 2026 World Cup. But on the eve of La Roja's second game against Saudi Arabia, central defender Pau Cubarsi was quick to dispel any fears.

"No, we have never had any doubts. We know the quality of our squad and our staff. I believe you always have to trust. We're on a 32-game unbeaten run, we've done great work these past years. We need to keep this momentum going," the Barcelona defender told the press.
