Bantsiele puts Congo ahead

Congo took the lead in the 24th minute through Geltany Bantsiele, who finished off a fine team move and Ivan Kia Dimi’s decisive pass. Claude Le Roy’s men have given themselves an advantage with 45 minutes remaining.

Congo looking to pull off an upset

After losing 0-1 to Namibia on the opening day, Congo are looking to cause a surprise at home.

Cameroon, meanwhile, will be looking to respond after the break. David Pagou’s men are coming off a fine 3-1 win over Comoros. Earlier in the day, the Coelacanths defeated Namibia 1-0. For now, Cameroon remain top of Group G.
