It is now official. Egypt’s match against Angola, part of the first round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, will be played in front of 40,000 fans. The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced the information as it opened ticket sales.

A huge advantage for seven-time African champions

Egyptian authorities have set the number of fans permitted to attend the match at 40,000. The game is scheduled for September 25 at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the first round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
