Bayern Munich want to strengthen their attack on the left flank. According to information from Christian Falk, the sporting management and Vincent Kompany believe that reinforcing this position would allow them to manage the squad more effectively over the course of the season. The winter transfer window could already provide an opportunity to make this intention a reality.

A heavy workload for Díaz

Luis Díaz remains Vincent Kompany’s first choice on the left wing. The Colombian’s importance in the Bavarian setup means he takes part in most matches, with a workload that has reportedly increased recently.

Bayern have also decided to keep him in Munich during the current international break so that he can benefit from a period of rest. The club want to avoid becoming overly dependent on their winger and have more options for the upcoming fixtures.
