Clásico: La Liga makes special arrangements for Barça vs Real Madrid clash
Next Sunday, football fans will be treated to the Clásico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The clash between the two giants of Spanish football will benefit from exceptional broadcast coverage. Indeed, according to information from Mundo Deportivo, LaLiga plans to deploy between 35 and 40 cameras at Camp Nou this Sunday for the Clásico.
The aim is to cover this major fixture in the best possible way. Matches between the two Spanish giants are classified in the A+ category, which justifies enhanced coverage compared with the roughly 22 cameras usually deployed for category A matches.
Cinematic cameras for the Clásico
It should be noted that, in addition to traditional cameras, the production is expected to include long-range equipment and cinematic cameras, with 4K broadcasting. The setup will also make it possible to follow certain players more closely, including Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé, two of the main attractions of this fixture.
According to the Spanish newspaper, the camera plan also serves as a reference for the referees and the video assistant referees (VAR), who can thus have complete coverage of the action taking place on the pitch.
