Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Karim Kimvuidi has joined Israeli Premier League outfit Hapoel Petah Tikva on a free transfer.

This comes after the 24-year-old playmaker was released by the Buccaneers alongside Gilberto, Bandile Shandu, Sipho Mbule, and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

Kimvuidi is no stranger to the football landscape in Israel having spent the 2025/26 campaign with FC Ashdod on a season-long loan from Pirates.

The DR Congo international made 25 appearances for Ashdod, scoring four goals with two assists in the process despite the team's relegation from the topflight.

Now, he is set for a new chapter with Hapoel, where he put pen to paper on a one-year deal with a two-year option.

Hapoel finished in sixth place as they accumulated 37 points from 26 matches in the Ligat haA'l last season.

Meanwhile, during his time at Pirates, the attacker played 37 games across all competitions, chipping in with three goals and a solitary assist.

Furthermore, he won two MTN8 titles and one Nedbank Cup with Pirates under the guidance of then-head coach Jose Riveiro.
