Soon, FC Barcelona will officially announce the arrival of Marcus Rashford. In the meantime, find out who convinced the Englishman to join the Catalan giants.

According to The Athletic, it was German manager Hansi Flick who called Rashford to outline his vision and explain how the forward would fit into his project. This personal touch was quickly appreciated by the British striker.

Loaned out to Aston Villa by the Red Devils last winter, Rashford enjoyed an impressive second half of the season, racking up 4 goals and 6 assists in 17 appearances across all competitions. Now, he has the chance to confirm his resurgence with the reigning Spanish champions, under a coach who has already reignited the likes of Raphinha, Frenkie De Jong, and Íñigo Martínez.
