FIFA officially cleared Egypt manager Hossam Hassan on Sunday after his post match display of solidarity with Palestine in North America.

The legendary forward turned manager openly displayed his support for the Palestinian people draping the national flag over his shoulders and speaking passionately about the human suffering in Gaza during his media duties.

While rumors quickly circulated that the tactician could face a heavy fine or a touchline suspension for broadcasting non-sporting messages, the governing body quickly shut down the speculation.

According to an official statement reported by global news agency Associated Press (AP News), FIFA confirmed that Hassan will not face any disciplinary sanctions.

A representative clarified that flags representing any of the organization's 211 official member associations are fully permitted within tournament venues under current stadium code of conduct guidelines.

Since the Palestinian Football Association holds recognized, legitimate membership within the global body, the Egyptian manager’s actions fell completely within authorized boundaries.
