Just two matches remain for Didier Deschamps on the France national team bench before he steps down following this 2026 World Cup.

Thierry Henry made a point of paying tribute to the France head coach. The former Arsenal star believes that Deschamps' successor will face a particularly tough challenge, given the remarkable work accomplished in recent years.

"Many say he’s just been lucky, but I absolutely disagree. His success comes from his decisions and his ability to take risks at the right moment. He’s an extremely intelligent man," Henry told FOX Sports.
