France team: Jules Koundé injured ahead of Senegal

On Monday against Northern Ireland, Malo Gusto, Jules Koundé was initially supposed to spend more time on the pitch with the French national team. However, he had to come off due to injury.

According to L'Equipe, Jules Koundé requested to be substituted after feeling muscle pain. The FC Barcelona defender’s injury is reportedly not serious.

Koundé’s presence for France’s opening World Cup match on June 16 against Senegal is, for now, not in doubt.
