Ghana: here is the official squad for the 2026 World Cup
Ghana has officially unveiled its 26-man roster for the 2026 World Cup. The squad, now led by recently appointed Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, will represent the Black Stars on football's biggest stage.
The coach has chosen to rely on a mix of experience and young European-based talents as they gear up for the competition in North America. Among the key players selected are Antoine Semenyo—now one of the team's pivotal figures—alongside Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, and Iñaki Williams.
Several other players competing in top European leagues also feature in the squad, such as Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku. Ghana heads into this World Cup aiming to make history and finally break new ground, after several previous appearances marked by mixed results.
