Neymar’s future is once again at the heart of football discussions. With his contract at Santos set to expire in December, the Brazilian superstar was approached by FC Cincinnati. Negotiations did take place, but the saga took an unexpected twist.

Neymar’s next move continues to spark debate. As his contract with Santos runs out this December, the Brazilian forward could be set to continue his career far from home. According to The Athletic, FC Cincinnati recently made a push to bring the Seleção icon to MLS.

Indeed, several discussions were held between both parties, and the MLS club seemed well positioned to land the Brazilian. However, the talks never really took off, much to Neymar’s disappointment.

According to The Athletic, the 34-year-old has ultimately decided to withdraw from negotiations, feeling that FC Cincinnati lacked the determination to finalize his arrival. It’s another dramatic twist in the Neymar saga, with his future now more uncertain than ever.
