Italy: Pep Guardiola's decision has been made

According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the trail leading to Pep Guardiola for the Italian national team manager position has cooled off.

Paolo Maldini and Leonardo met with the Catalan coach in Barcelona last weekend. The purpose was to assess the feasibility of appointing him as head of the Squadra Azzurra.

However, the discussions reportedly did not change the Manchester City manager’s stance. In fact, Guardiola is said to have reaffirmed his desire to take a break after his club adventure, prioritizing time with his family and away from the dugout. A change of heart is still possible!
