LaLiga: a worrying statistic about Real Madrid revealed

Nothing is working for Real Madrid at the start of this season.

Since Sunday evening, Real Madrid have been heavily criticised after their derby defeat to Atlético (2-1). The White House will come under even more scrutiny following the revelation of a damning statistic. Indeed, over the first seven matchdays of LaLiga, José Mourinho's team are the side that run the least! Los Merengues cover an average of 83.46 kilometres per match, a distance lower than that of every other team in the Spanish league.

At the top of the ranking compiled by Sofascore, Elche lead with 105.61 km per match. They are ahead of Barcelona (104.64) and Athletic Club (103.59). Only 11th, Atlético Madrid cover an average of 88.45 km in each LaLiga match this season.
