Olivier Mbaizo officially bids farewell to Philadelphia Union. The 28-year-old Cameroonian right-back is now on the hunt for a new club after spending eight seasons in the city.

It's the end of an era. Since joining in 2018, Olivier Mbaizo has not received a contract extension offer from the club. His deal was set to run until December 31, 2026, but Philadelphia decided to turn the page.

Philadelphia Union has announced the termination of defender Olivier Mbaizo's contract.

Mbaizo (28) joined Bethlehem Steel in January 2018, then signed for the first team and made his debut on September 23, 2018, against Sporting Kansas City.

This separation comes after eight long seasons of dedication and loyalty to the club. Throughout his Philadelphia Union career, Olivier Mbaizo featured in 156 matches across all competitions, providing 13 assists. Solid defensively and effective going forward, he leaves a real mark on the "Sons of Ben" supporters.
