Morocco: Hakimi analyzes the work of the federation president

In his interview with Onze Mondial, Achraf Hakimi opened up about the work accomplished by the federation president, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa.

"I've been here for almost ten years and I've witnessed not only the evolution of Moroccan football, but also of the country itself. Thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has developed in an incredible way, and I want to thank him for his investment, especially in sports. With the help of federation president Fouzi Lekjaa, remarkable work has been done, even if it's not always visible from the outside. The results come naturally: they're the reward for all this investment. They've put everything in place to allow Moroccan football to grow and progress. Today, we have the best possible conditions to succeed. It's a real pleasure to have a structure and a president who gives everything to help us perform at our best," said the PSG player.

Hakimi also shared his greatest memory wearing the Morocco shirt: "The 2022 World Cup in Qatar. When you reach the semi-finals of a World Cup and become the first African nation to achieve such a feat, it's exceptional. I felt indescribable emotions. Seeing my family, loved ones, and all the Moroccan people happy, it was something truly powerful. What we experienced was unique. The whole country was out on the streets celebrating, there was real unity, it was magnificent. It was a special moment and I hope to experience more like it. We'll keep working to bring more trophies home."
