Aliou Cissé has officially signed his contract with the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) to become the new head coach of the Palancas Negras. Just 24 hours after stepping down as head coach of the Libyan national team, the Senegalese manager embarks on a new challenge.

Cissé has inked a four-year deal to lead the Palancas Negras, according to journalist Micky Jnr.
The 50-year-old Senegalese coach will be unveiled on Thursday afternoon in Luanda.

Having left his position as Libya manager only 24 hours ago, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations champion succeeds Patrice Beaumelle, who resigned following a disappointing campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
