🔴 Ballon d’Or 2026: official rankings from 30th to 26th place

Details of the rankings of the candidates for the 2026 Ballon d’Or are beginning to be revealed, with five positions in the rankings announced, from 30th to 26th.

France Football, organiser of this prestigious individual award, has moved the Ballon d’Or ceremony to the United Kingdom for the first time in the competition’s history, in collaboration with UEFA, on the occasion of the 70th edition of this global football event.

Competition is fierce this year for the “Ballon d’Or”, with several big names in contention, including Spain’s Lamine Yamal, France’s Kylian Mbappé and England’s Harry Kane.

Unlike in the 2025 edition, when he finished in fourth place, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is not among the 30 candidates for the Ballon d’Or this year.

The rankings of the players from 30th to 26th place in the Ballon d’Or revealed

The players and their positions are ranked as follows:

• 26) France’s Dayot Upamecano, Bayern Munich defender

• 27) Portugal’s Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United attacking midfielder

• 28) Mexico’s Julián Quiñones, Al-Qadsiah striker
