Official: Real Madrid Sign Álvaro Carreras from Benfica Until 2031

Real Madrid've confirmed the signing of Alvaro Carreras from Benfica with the Spanish defender set to join the club on 6 year contract running until 30 Jun 2031.

Carreras, 21 is no stranger to the Madrid setup he came through the Real Madrid youth academy between 2017 & 2020 developing in both the junior and youth categories before moving abroad.

Career Highlights So Far

After standout spell at Man United where he was named the U23 Player of the Season in 2021 /22 Carreras joined Benfica and won the Portuguese league cup in 2024.

Official Presentation on Tuesday

The club announced that Carreras'll be unveiled on Tuesday at 1:00 PM local time at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Prior to the presentation, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez'll host the official contract signing ceremony at the club’s headquarters.
