After Walid Regragui, it's now Tarik Sektioui's turn to leave Morocco.

The Moroccan Football Federation announced this Sunday the departure of Tarik Sektioui. The Moroccan tactician notably led the Moroccan team to ultimate victory at the last Arab Cup on December 18, and also guided the Olympic squad to a third-place finish at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

“The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announces an amicable separation with Mr. Tarek Sektioui, after a period during which he oversaw the national teams (Olympic team, local team, and reserve team). The Royal Moroccan Football Federation extends its sincere thanks and gratitude to Mr. Tarek Sektioui for his efforts and results achieved during his tenure, and wishes him every success in the next stage of his professional career,” stated the Moroccan Federation.

Tarik Sektioui has now been appointed as the head coach of Oman.
