PSG: Marquinhos reveals the Parisians' ambition after the UEFA Super Cup
PSG struck again on Wednesday night, clinching the UEFA Super Cup against Aston Villa (2-1). According to captain Marquinhos, the capital club is far from satisfied.
"This new trophy shows the club's ambition, and the drive of the players here. We managed to overcome the difficulties. It's great to start off like this. We need to keep confirming our mentality on the pitch—we want to carve our place deeper and deeper into football history. We have to keep winning, and that's how we'll get there. Every time we get the chance, we'll try to win a trophy. We want to keep going after more. Every trophy is hugely important; some stand out more, of course, but all of them remain part of our history," the centre-back said after the final.
He also looked ahead to the Trophée des Champions against Lens next Sunday: "We're ready for Sunday now. We're going to give it our all to win it. We're not at 100%, but we have the intelligence and experience to win games like this."
Desiré Doué echoed the same sentiments. The player has already made his ambitions clear for the rest of the season. The Parisian attacking midfielder isn't hiding his desire to claim a third consecutive Champions League title.

"The third star? Of course we're thinking about it, because we have the ambition, and the goal is to win everything this year," Doué told Canal+.
