With their victory in the UEFA Super Cup final on Wednesday night, PSG sent a powerful message across Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain delivered in style by defeating Aston Villa 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night. Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué were the scorers for the Parisians in the final. The young Brian Madjo had equalized for the English side just before halftime.

"The boss is already back," proclaimed Le Parisien. Without dazzling and suffering through some tough stretches, PSG once again clinched a trophy—a winning habit that Luis Enrique’s players seem in no hurry to break. They are "never satisfied," the outlet added, something Désiré Doué confirmed after the match by already talking about chasing a third consecutive star.

This PSG under Luis Enrique is a powerhouse on the pitch and, off it, more united than ever—arguably its greatest strength. "Emery eclipsed by Kvaradona," joked the British press. The Georgian opened the match at breakneck speed with a superb goal, before becoming more subdued and showing a few technical lapses.
