Real Madrid: Franco Mastantuono will not go to the 2026 World Cup

Another Madrid player snubbed for the 2026 World Cup. Franco Mastantuono will not feature in the tournament with Argentina.

According to information from TNT SPORTS Argentina, Franco Mastantuono will not be included in Lionel Scaloni’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. Mastantuono had received a call-up back in March for two friendlies against Mauritania (2-1) and Zambia (5-0).

In recent weeks, Mastantuono has alternated between starting and coming off the bench for his club. The Argentine hasn’t made a decisive impact for Real Madrid since January.
