This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain finally took off to face Rennes in the opening matchday of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season.

Parisian coach Luis Enrique has made bold decisions with his squad selection for the trip to Rennes this Sunday in Ligue 1. The Spanish tactician has left out midfielder Senny Mayulu and winger Quentin Ndjantou.

As reported in recent hours, wingers Ibrahim Mbaye (18) and Bradley Barcola (23), both potentially on their way out this summer, are also missing from the squad. Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes (24), who is suspended, is absent as well. Notably, newly signed attacking midfielder Mika Godts (21) and versatile forward Ferran Torres (26) are included, both called up for the first time with PSG after joining this transfer window.
