Yesterday, the end of the Round of 16 match at this 2026 World Cup between Portugal and Spain (1-0) was marked by a tense scene between Bernardo Silva and Rodri.

Teammates for seven years at Manchester City, the two players clashed. While the former was on the ground after narrowly missing the equalizer from a Francisco Conceição cross, the latter taunted him by shouting his relief over him. The Portuguese did not appreciate this. As a result, the Spaniard apologized to him after the match.
