Mohamed Salah delivered a particularly moving moment to a young Liverpool supporter during the clash between Trabzonspor and Ferencváros in European qualifying. Invited by the Turkish club, Isaac Kerney, an ardent admirer of the Egyptian star, traveled from England with his family and had the chance to step onto the pitch alongside his idol.

This moment carried special significance for young Isaac. Born with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, he had already met Mohamed Salah during the Egyptian's spell at Liverpool. The Pharaoh's new adventure in Turkey thus gave him the opportunity to reunite with his hero and share a symbolic moment together before kick-off.

The young fan had even sent a message to Salah after his departure from Liverpool, expressing his gratitude for the memories created with the player. He wished him the best of luck for this new chapter in his career, assuring Salah that he would continue to support him.

Thanks to Trabzonspor's invitation, Isaac's dream finally came true: stepping onto the pitch alongside Salah, this time in the colors of the Turkish club.

First European defeat for Salah

On the pitch, however, the evening was less joyful for the former Liverpool player. Starting in his second match for Trabzonspor, Salah could not prevent a 1-0 defeat against Ferencváros in the first leg of the European qualifiers.

The Egyptian had several chances but was unable to break the deadlock. He managed just one shot on target out of six attempts, and now Trabzonspor will have to overturn the deficit in the return leg in Hungary.

After the match, Salah was also spotted in the mixed zone at Papara Park, taking time to look at photos of the club's former teams displayed along the stadium corridors.

Even though his European debut with Trabzonspor ended in defeat, Mohamed Salah at least enjoyed an emotionally charged evening with Isaac Kerney. It's a gesture that reminds us that, beyond performances and transfers, football still has the power to create lasting memories.
