According to the website "football-ranking," the Carthage Eagles now sit in 47th place, thanks to their 2-0 friendly win over Burkina Faso on Monday.

For the record, the North African side was ranked 49th in the last FIFA rankings published on April 3rd.

Tunisia could continue its spectacular rise if they manage to secure two positive results in their upcoming friendlies against Morocco and Zambia.

Since Sami Trabelsi took over as head coach, the 2024 AFCON champions have been rediscovering their best form, as shown by their streak of three consecutive victories over Liberia, Malawi, and Burkina Faso.
