After a successful group stage, Gustavo Tejera continues to shine. FIFA has appointed him to officiate the World Cup Round of 16 match between Australia and Egypt, scheduled for Friday at 19:00 GMT at the Dallas stadium.

Previously, Gustavo Tejera refereed the Mexico vs South Korea (1-0) match in Guadalajara. The Uruguayan referee will be assisted by his compatriots Carlos Barreiro and Nicolas Taran, while Sandro Schärer will serve as the fourth official.
