This Sunday, Ousmane Dembélé made his way back to his beloved hometown. The occasion: to celebrate his recent Ballon d’Or triumph, clinched just a few weeks ago. The Parisian forward appeared in front of city hall to the sound of thunderous applause, trophy in hand, as the iconic Champions League anthem rang out.

It was a highly symbolic homecoming for Ousmane Dembélé, who wanted to share this joyous moment with the people, keeping it simple and heartfelt. A truly unforgettable day for Évreux. And what a sight it was to see one of the city’s prodigal sons return with the Ballon d’Or in his grasp!
