The race for the quarter-finals is heating up. At the end of the first half in the Group C matches of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria and Zambia have taken a firm step toward qualification. Displaying efficiency and composure, they lead their respective matches and currently occupy the top two spots in the group.

Nigeria dominate against Egypt

With these provisional scores, Zambia now top the group, while Malawi drop to third, handing second place to Nigeria, who continue their march toward the quarter-finals.
