The group stage of this 2026 World Cup wrapped up last night with the final verdicts.

After 72 matches played, the 32 nations qualifying for the round of 16 are now known, along with all the matchups. This final day was also highlighted by a unique record.

Indeed, by scoring Ghana’s only goal against Croatia (2-1), Derrick Luckassen netted the 200th goal of this 2026 World Cup. Never before in the history of the competition has the 200-goal mark been reached in a single edition.
