Following Morocco's qualification against Canada in the Round of 16 at this 2026 World Cup, Brahim Diaz appeared in the mixed zone sporting a broad smile.

The Real Madrid player chose to emphasize the collective strength of the Atlas Lions. "The most important thing is what we achieve as a team, because today was a tough match, the first half wasn’t particularly good, but the mentality we showed was incredible and that’s what ultimately makes the difference in these kinds of games. Well, Morocco is here, we are here, we’re fighting, and we want to keep moving forward. Now let’s celebrate, because that’s what we need, but we have to prepare for the next match as soon as possible." he said.

He added: "Things are going very well with Morocco. I’m extremely happy with what I’m accomplishing. The support and love I’ve received since arriving in Morocco has been incredible.
