On paper, England were favorites to win this 2026 World Cup, but they failed to overcome Ghana (0-0) this Tuesday in the second matchday of Group L.

With this draw, the English squad set an unfortunate record. In fact, the Three Lions have now recorded the highest number of goalless draws in the history of the competition, with thirteen 0-0 results according to Stats Foot.

A reaction will be expected against Panama next Saturday from Thomas Tuchel’s men.
