World Cup 2026 preparations: Probable lineups for the United States vs Germany match
The United States and Germany will face off this Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 18:30 GMT as both teams ramp up their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
Having reached the round of 16 in their last three appearances in 2010, 2014, and 2022, the Americans are eager to go further on home soil, especially after losing the 2025 Gold Cup final to Mexico 1-2.

The USA defeated Uruguay 5-1 and Senegal 3-2, but suffered losses to Belgium 2-5 and Portugal 0-2 during their build-up to the big event.
Die Mannschaft, meanwhile, are riding an eight-match winning streak across all competitions. After beating Switzerland (4-3) and Ghana (2-1) in March, the Germans crushed Finland 4-0 in their first May fixture.

Of note, Neuer returns for this match, coming out of international retirement at 40 years old after missing the Finland game through injury.
Here are the probable lineups for both teams:
United States: Turner, Freeman, Ream, McKenzie, Dest, Adams, Berhalter, Robinson, Reyna, Pulisic, Balogun.
Germany: Neuer, Kimmich, Tah, Schlotterbeck, Brown, Goretzka, Pavlovic, Sane, Musiala, Wirtz, Woltemade.
