FIFA have confirmed the officiating team for the Group J clash between Algeria and Austria, scheduled for 27 June at Philadelphia Stadium, with kick‑off at 22:00 ET.

Uzbekistan’s Ilgiz Tantashev will take charge as referee, supported by compatriots Andrey Tsapenko and Timur Gaynullin as assistant referees. Mexico’s Katia Itzel García and Sandra Ramírez have been named as the fourth official and reserve assistant referee respectively.

The appointment reflects FIFA’s continued use of officials from a range of confederations for key group‑stage matches. For Algeria and Austria, the match carries significant weight as both sides look to secure their place in the knockout stages. The officiating crew will have a crucial role in maintaining the flow and fairness of what is expected to be a competitive encounter. The game is one of several decisive fixtures scheduled as the tournament reaches its final round of group matches.
