FIFA has appointed the English referee Anthony Taylor to take charge of the third-round World Cup clash between Senegal and Iraq. The showdown will take place on June 26, 2026, at 19:00 GMT at the Toronto Stadium, Canada.

Taylor, who has held the FIFA international badge since 2013, is regarded as one of the top officials on the scene. He has already refereed the Uzbekistan vs Colombia (1-3) encounter in Group K.

In this clash between the Teranga Lions and the Lions of Mesopotamia, Taylor will be supported by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, while Saudi official Khalid Al-Turais will serve as the fourth official.
