Spain has secured a spot in the 2026 World Cup final after defeating France (2-0). This marks their second appearance in the tournament’s final, the first being their dramatic 1-0 extra-time win over the Netherlands in 2010.

Beyond this latest final, La Roja has contested nine major finals across the European Championship and the Nations League. Their first came in the 1964 European Championship, where they triumphed 2-1 over the Soviet Union.

The Spaniards lost the 1984 final to France but claimed victories in 2008 over Germany, in 2012 against Italy, and in 2024 against England.
