Last night, Vinicius Jr once again lit up the 2026 World Cup stage. He netted a brace against Scotland (3-0) in the early hours of Thursday during the third matchday of Group C.

For his outstanding performance, the Real Madrid star received glowing praise from his national team coach, Carlo Ancelotti.

"It's satisfying to see him shine, but I never doubted his ability to make an impact at this World Cup. For him, it's an honor to play for the national team. He's in fantastic form—even scoring a header, which is a rarity for him. I'm certainly not the one discovering Vini. For me, Vini is an exceptional player. He's clearly one of the best in the world," declared the Italian to the press.
