Already qualified for the upcoming World Cup, Tunisia turned on the style once again this Monday against Namibia.
Placed in Group H of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, Tunisia signed off with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Namibia on Monday. The difference-makers for the Carthage Eagles were Abdi (28', pen.), Mejbri (55'), and Sassi (64').
Elsewhere, Liberia and Equatorial Guinea could not be separated (1-1), while São Tomé and Príncipe got their first points on the board by defeating Malawi (1-0). Finally, in a dead rubber in Group B, already eliminated South Sudan and Togo played out a goalless draw (0-0).
