Abdukodir Khusanov receives a luxury car in Uzbekistan

Abdukodir Khusanov is experiencing contrasting moments. Having joined Manchester City two months ago for 40 million euros, the Uzbek defender is still struggling to make his mark in the Premier League. Although he scored a goal in the EFL Cup against Leyton Orient, his defensive errors have drawn criticism in England.

But back home, it's a whole different story. Returning to Uzbekistan for the World Cup qualifiers, Khusanov was welcomed as a true hero. The Uzbekistan Football Federation, through Ulugbek Asonboev, even gifted him a Mercedes-Benz G-Class worth over a hundred thousand dollars.
