Agreement reached, Bukayo Saka will extend at Arsenal
Arsenal is set to secure one of its most prized talents. Bukayo Saka is about to sign a new long-term contract with the Gunners, several sources reported this Monday, April 28.
Bukayo Saka's stay with the Gunners is far from over. With two years remaining on his current contract, Arsenal swiftly began negotiations to extend the English winger's stay. After several weeks of discussions, a common ground seems to have been found to retain the 23-year-old player.
Having delivered a remarkable 2024-2025 campaign, Bukayo Saka has solidified his status as a key component in Mikel Arteta's squad. With 11 goals and 13 assists in 31 appearances across all competitions, the English international contributed significantly to the results, despite his thigh injury that kept him off the field from December 21, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Back at the beginning of this April, he celebrated his comeback with a spectacular goal against Fulham in the Premier League. He also shone in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid on April 16.
