Al Ahly officially announced the departure of Amr El Solia today as the veteran midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the current season.

In statement on their website, the egyptian giants thanked El Solia for his loyalty, dedication and years of service:

"He was among the most committed players, known for his loyalty & endless effort to serve the team"

The club praised his role in achieving major successes, calling him key figure in delivering trophies and joy to Al Ahly fans.

Future Role and Tribute Await

Al Ahly confirmed plans to honor El Solia in special ceremony, adding:

"He'll always be part of the Al Ahly family and may return in the future in technical or administrative role"

El Solia’s Emotional Goodbye

On Facebook , El Solia wrote:

"To Al Ahly fans ... the moment has come. I officially end my journey after 9.5 unforgettable years. I’m proud of what I achieved (342 game, 34 goal, 29 assist and 24 title"

Fifth Summer Exit

El Solia becomes the 5th player to leave Al Ahly this summer after Rami Rabia, Akram Tawfik, Hamza Alaa and Ali Maaloul.
