Pachuca's sporting director, Alfredo Altieri, stated in an exclusive interview with the Egyptian site Btolat that his team will face the "Red Devils" in a friendly match scheduled for June 8th or 9th, in the state of Florida, USA.
Altieri described the encounter against Al Ahly as a "great opportunity," stating: "It will be an enriching experience. When the chance to play against Al Ahly came up, we accepted immediately, as it is excellent preparation before the competition in the United States."
He added: "This will be our only friendly match before the tournament, in addition to the continuation of our local championship in Mexico."
It is worth noting that Al Ahly and Pachuca recently faced each other on December 14th, in the semi-final of the Intercontinental Club Cup, at Stadium 974 in Doha (Qatar).
