Al Ahly Reportedly Reaches Agreement to Sign Ahmed Sayed Zizo

Egyptian reports have revealed details of potential move by Al Ahly to sign international winger Ahmed Sayed Zizo from rivals Zamalek.

Contract Situation & Negotiations

Zizo’s contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the current season, allowing him to negotiate freely with any club. Recent reports suggest that Al Ahly has made formal offer and reached preliminary agreement with the player through his father who also serves as his agent.

According to multiple Egyptian media outlets, Al Ahly's secured Zizo’s commitment for free transfer at the end of the season with the winger expected to join their squad for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Contract Details & Financial Terms

Zizo's reportedly set to sign 4 year deal with Al Ahly, earning 50 million Egyptian pounds per season, totaling 200 million pounds over the contract duration. Additionally he'll receive commercial endorsements as part of his agreement, becoming brand ambassador for one of Al Ahly’s sponsors.

Furthermore reports indicate that Zizo’s father, acting as the deal’s intermediary, will receive separate financial sum from Al Ahly, though the exact amount remains undisclosed.
