Alain Traoré considering a return to Burkina Faso

At 36, Alain Traoré hasn't lost an ounce of his passion. The former Burkina Faso international, renowned for his silky left foot and pinpoint free kicks, isn't ready to hang up his boots just yet.

Alain Traoré is contemplating a return to his roots—and not just any homecoming. The man who once wore the colors of AJ Auxerre, AS Monaco, and FC Lorient could soon be joining a club in Burkina Faso. He hinted at this in remarks shared by Faso Sports:

Why not come and give more visibility to the Burkinabe league? It's in the pipeline, we're thinking about it and we'll see. I'm Burkinabè and proud of it. If I need to help push Burkinabe football forward, I'll be the first in line.

More than just a transfer, this potential return home is shaping up to be a true commitment. Traoré, an experienced player, is ready to mentor local youth and help shine a spotlight on a league still searching for its moment in the sun.
