With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the Algerian national team could embark on a gradual preparation phase during the upcoming March international window. According to insights shared by journalist Yacine Benlamnouar, a schedule of international friendlies is reportedly under consideration, though nothing has been finalized yet.

In this context, a first friendly against Uruguay could take place at Wembley Stadium, pending approval from local authorities. A second fixture against Costa Rica is also being considered, either in London or Algeria, depending on how negotiations progress.
