Angel Yondjo Matah close to signing in Ligue 1

Angel Yondjo Matah, the Cameroonian prodigy, is on the verge of joining Ligue 1. Discovered by the École de Football des Boissons du Cameroun, he showcased exceptional skills during the Uniffac U20 tournament. Considered one of the greatest hopes of Cameroonian football, the young 18-year-old forward has caught the attention of several French clubs.

Among his suitors are Stade Rennais, OGC Nice, and several others. But it seems that LOSC Lille has taken a decisive lead in the race. According to sources close to the matter, Angel Yondjo Matah is expected to sign a professional contract with the Ligue 1 club in the coming weeks. Negotiations are reportedly in the final stages between the northern club and the École de Football des Brasseries du Cameroun (EFBC), his training club.
