Angers SCO: Himad Abdelli absent against Rennes

Himad Abdelli, captain of Angers SCO, will be absent for the match against Stade Rennais scheduled for this Sunday, March 30, as part of the 27th day of Ligue 1.​

Angers will not be able to count on their captain Himad Abdelli on the field this weekend to face Stade Rennais. The Algerian attacking midfielder is suspended after receiving his fourth yellow card of the season during the match against Le Havre. Additionally, Abdelli is suffering from a thigh injury sustained during the match against AS Monaco on March 15, which also forced him to withdraw from recent matches of the Algerian national team against Botswana and Mozambique.

Abdelli's suspension comes at a delicate time for Angers, who are looking to escape the relegation zone. Angers SCO is currently 14th in the standings with 27 points, six points clear of the relegation zone.
