Zlatan Ibrahimović, the Swedish football legend, has revealed his favorite to win the 2026 World Cup, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The former striker believes Spain has everything it takes to overcome Argentina in Sunday's highly anticipated final.

After 39 days of twists and turns, the 23rd edition of the World Cup is set for a blockbuster finale, with Spain and Argentina squaring off at MetLife Stadium.

Just a day earlier, England clinched third place in the tournament after a spectacular 6-4 victory over France.

In an interview with Fox Sports, Zlatan Ibrahimović expressed his confidence in La Roja.

"Spain completely controlled their match against France. I think they can deliver the same performance against Argentina."

The former Swedish international elaborated: “The Spaniards will dictate play with their possession game. Argentina is not a team that mainly relies on counterattacks.”

He concluded: "I believe Spain will stay true to their identity. Their teamwork is their greatest strength and, in my view, they will dominate this final."

This 2026 World Cup final carries historic significance as, for the first time ever, the reigning European champion will face off against the Copa América holders in a World Cup final.
